Voss has a varied landscape with lowlands, mysterious forest and spectacular mountains that border both the Sognefjord and the Hardangerfjord, making it a stunning place to cast a line. Fishing in Voss takes place mainly in Strandaelva, Opheimsvatnet and Lønavatnet. The river are crystal clear and have a good average size and the fish in these parts are strong and of good quality.
It is possible to fish from early spring to late autumn and there are good hatches throughout the season. For lake fishing we will use boats as this provides a better opportunity to catch fish, more flexibility and chances to change location easily.
